Each team member has decades of experience in their respective area of expertise. This experience has been developed working on hundreds of battery system designs. Regardless of the OEM’s challenge with portable power and batteries, our team is equipped to provide the best possible solution.

Ideation – OEM’s can best leverage the collective experience of MPS when we participate early in their development project. Our understanding of both conventional and emerging battery technologies can help define the range of viable solutions, and the technical/manufacturing/acquisition risk affiliated with each possible solution. If a single type of cell technology cannot meet desired performance targets, then hybrid solutions (such as battery + supercapacitor or battery + fuel cell) could be proposed and developed. Regardless of the technical challenge, the team at MPS has probably encountered and overcome similar challenges in the past.

Consultation – Whether your issues are with OEM device performance, batteries and chargers, transportation, regulations, product quality, or supply chain stability, MPS can engage on a consulting contract basis to clarify and resolve these issues. In addition to battery assembly and testing, many of our customers leverage our industry experience on a fixed-cost or hourly fee basis. Examples of topics of consultation include;
