Mobile Power Solutions (MPS) specializes in ensuring your Lithium-ion batteries and products meet all your requirements for real-world usage. Our state-of-the-art lab and experienced engineering team are fully equipped to complete cell and battery qualification to your company’s specific requirements.
Some of the environmental and safety tests may be covered in mandatory or optional regulatory approvals, but MPS has the capability to test and verify far beyond the obligatory regulatory requirements. MPS is ANAB accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, as well as certified to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100D.
Performance Testing
Cells and batteries differ, and performance varies widely. MPS tests to real-world conditions as defined by our customers. Our performance tests can be customized to your specific performance expectations. Our performance test results enable you to choose the optimal cell or battery configurations for your application. Our experienced staff can consult on your initial performance tests, and add their decades of experience with OEM equipment and battery performance. Our test equipment and facilities provide complete data acquisition (including video) for all performance and safety testing. Our equipment is calibrated to NIST traceable standards, and our facility is a controlled temperature environment. MPS’s MACCOR cyclers are factory calibrated, and are included as part of our ANAB accreditation and scope.

Environmental Testing
Environmental testing simulates extreme environmental conditions experienced by OEM equipment and batteries. These tests expose batteries to a variety of conditions such as heat, cold, shock, vibration, altitude, humidity, and corrosion. MPS has test chambers designed specifically for environmental testing of batteries. Our experienced staff can consult on your expectations of environmental performance, and add their decades of experience with OEM equipment and battery performance.

- Low/High temperatures of – 60°C to +100°C
- Altitude (low pressure) up to 100,000 feet
